As a typical three tiered application Telefakt has a persistence layer, a business-logic layer and a user-interface layer. However in Telefakt the persistence and business-logic layer are both implemented in the Oracle database, this means that the business-logic is implemented using Oracle PL/SQL. The user-interface layer is implemented using Adobe ColdFusion a framework that compiles into Java.
